Refund and Returns Policy

At Therapy in Abar, we take pride in crafting high-quality natural personal care products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this Refund and Return Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.

  1. Eligibility for Returns
    1. We accept returns under the following conditions:
  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • You notify us within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
  1. Returns that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.
  1. Non-Returnable Items 
    1. For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for:
  • Used or opened products
  • Personalized or custom-made items
  • Products purchased during sales or promotions (unless defective)
  • If we determine that a product has been used, altered, or repackaged—including any tampering with soap bars—we reserve the right to decline any refund or exchange due to hygiene and safety protocols.
  1. Returns that do not meet these criteria will not be accepted.
  1. Return Process
    1. To initiate a return:
  • Email us at support@therapy-in-abar.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number, a photo of the product, and the reason for return.
  • Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
  1. Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (damaged or incorrect item).
  1. Refunds
    1. Once we receive and inspect the returned product, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.
    2. Please note: Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
  1. Out-of-Stock Replacements
    1. If you are eligible for a return or replacement and the originally ordered item is out of stock at the time your request is processed, we will inform you promptly.
    2. In such cases, the following options will be provided:
  • A full refund of the amount paid for the unavailable item, processed according to the timelines and terms under Section 4 (Refunds).
  • A store credit or gift card of equal value that can be used for a future purchase.
  1. In certain situations, a similar or alternative product of equal or higher value may be offered as a replacement, subject to your approval.
  2. No automatic substitutions will be made without your prior consent. If no suitable resolution is agreed upon within 7 business days of notification, the standard refund will be issued.
  1. Partial Refunds (If Applicable)
    1. Therapy in Abar may issue a partial refund in specific circumstances where the returned product does not fully meet the criteria for a complete refund. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • Returns where the outer packaging is damaged or not in original condition, but the product inside remains unused.
  • Instances where only part of a bundle or set is returned.
  • Products that show minor signs of handling without being used or opened.
  1. In such cases, the amount refunded will be adjusted based on the condition of the returned product after inspection. All decisions regarding partial refunds will be made at the discretion of the Therapy in Abar team and will be considered final.
  1. Refusal of Refund or Return
    1. Therapy in Abar reserves the right to refuse a refund or return if:
  • The product has been used, opened, or tampered with
  • The return request is made after the 7-day window
  • There is insufficient proof of damage, defect, or purchase
  • We have reasonable grounds to believe the policy is being misused
  1. All decisions regarding refunds, returns, exchanges or refusal of refund or return are made at the sole discretion of the Therapy in Abar team. These decisions are considered final and are not subject to dispute, negotiation, or challenge by the customer.
  1. Repeated Return Abuse / Fraud Prevention Clause
    1. To maintain fairness and protect against misuse: Therapy in Abar reserves the right to deny future return/refund requests from customers who engage in repeated return claims, abuse of policy, or suspected fraudulent activity.
    2. Each case will be reviewed individually, and decisions are final at the sole discretion of the Therapy in Abar team. These decisions are considered final and are not subject to dispute, negotiation, or challenge by the customer.
  1. Exchanges 

We currently do not offer exchanges. If you received a defective or incorrect product, you may return it for a refund and place a new order.

  1. Damaged or Incorrect Items 

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us immediately with photographic evidence. We will work to resolve the issue promptly and provide a replacement or refund as appropriate.

  1. Limited Edition or Seasonal Items 
    1. Certain products may be offered as limited editions or seasonal batches, and may not be restocked once sold out.
    2. These items are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless damaged or defective upon arrival.
    3. We recommend placing your order promptly if you wish to secure limited offerings.
  1. Packaging Disclosure

Therapy in Abar products are shrink-wrapped and packaged in a sturdy mailer box with an additional mailer bag to ensure safe delivery. Please note that minor creasing, wrinkling, or superficial marks on the outer packaging or shrink wrap may occur during handling and transit. These do not affect the quality, safety, or performance of the product in any way and will not be considered valid reasons for refund, return, replacement or exchange request.

  1. Gift Cards
    1. All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable. Gift cards issued by Therapy in Abar cannot be exchanged for cash, reloaded, or returned once purchased. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards. Promotional gift cards, if issued, may be subject to expiration or specific terms which will be communicated at the time of issue.
    2. Purchases made using a gift card are also non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in cases where the item received is damaged or incorrect. In such cases, the return or refund request will be evaluated in accordance with Section 1 (Eligibility for Returns) and processed as per the guidelines outlined in Section 4 (Refunds) of this policy.
  1. Package Refusal or Failed Delivery
    1. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide accurate and complete shipping information at the time of purchase. Therapy in Abar shall not be held liable for delivery failures resulting from customer error of providing incorrect or incomplete shipping address or unavailability.
    2. The following circumstances constitute a failed delivery:
  • Refusal of Delivery: If a customer refuses to accept the shipment upon delivery, the package shall be returned to us by the carrier.
  • Incorrect or Incomplete Address: Shipments returned due to an incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise undeliverable address provided by the customer shall be deemed a failed delivery.
  • Unavailability of Recipient: If the delivery cannot be completed due to the recipient’s repeated unavailability or failure to respond to delivery attempts, and the shipment is returned to us, it shall be treated as a failed delivery.
  • Consequences of Failed Delivery: In the event of a failed delivery, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Therapy in Abar, less the original shipping fee (if applicable) and any return shipping charges incurred. 
  • Any re-shipment of goods must be initiated through a new order and will be subject to current product availability and applicable shipping fees.
  1. Refunds under this clause shall be processed within 7–10 business days from the date the returned product is received and inspected by our team.
  1. Non-Transferability of Refunds and Returns 

Refunds, returns, and gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be assigned or sold to third parties under any circumstances.

  1. Non-Receipt of Return 

Therapy in Abar is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Customers are encouraged to use a tracked and insured shipping service when returning items.

  1. Return Authorization 

All returns require prior approval by Therapy in Abar. Unauthorized returns may be rejected or sent back at the customer’s expense.

  1. Refund Method & Timing
    1. Refunds will be issued only through the original payment method.
    2. While Therapy in Abar shall make reasonable efforts to process approved refunds within 7–10 business days from the date of receipt and verification of returned goods, the Company shall not be held liable for any delays attributable to third-party payment processors, banking institutions, or technical disruptions.
    3. Once a refund is initiated by Therapy in Abar, the responsibility for crediting the amount to the customer’s account lies solely with the relevant financial institution. In no event shall Therapy in Abar be responsible for any delay beyond its control. Customers are advised to follow up directly with their financial provider if the refund is not reflected within 14 business days of initiation.
  1. Order Cancellations
    1. If you need to cancel your order, please review the following conditions:
  • Time Frame for Cancellation: Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours of placement or before the order has been dispatched, whichever comes first.
  • How to Cancel: To cancel your order, please email us at support@therapy-in-abar.com with your order number and reason for cancellation. We will confirm whether the cancellation is possible based on your order’s processing status.
  • After Dispatch: Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to cancel the order. In such cases, the standard return policy will apply only if the item meets the eligibility criteria (damaged, defective, or incorrect).
  • Refund for Cancelled Orders: If your cancellation is approved within the eligible time frame, the refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days. Please note that shipping charges (if any) may not be refunded if the order was already prepared for shipment.
  1. Quality Assurance Disclaimer
    1. At Therapy in Abar, all our products are handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients and essential oils. As a result, minor variations in color, scent, texture, and shape may occur from batch to batch.
    2. These differences are a natural result of our artisanal production process and the use of raw, unrefined ingredients. They do not impact the effectiveness, safety, or overall quality of the product. Accordingly, such natural variations shall not be considered defects or grounds for return, refund, or exchange.
    3. Customers acknowledge and accept these characteristics as inherent to the nature of handmade personal care products.
    4. We maintain strict quality control standards to ensure each product meets our brand’s promise of safety and performance.
    5. By purchasing from Therapy in Abar, you agree to this standard of variation and understand that it is part of the charm and authenticity of our handmade collection.
  1. Visual Representation Disclaimer
    1. Product images displayed on our website and social media platforms are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, please note:
  • Due to the handcrafted nature of our products and the use of natural ingredients, slight variations in color, swirl patterns, size, or texture may occur.
  • These variations do not impact the quality, safety, or effectiveness of the product in any way.
  • Differences between the product received and its visual representation shall not be considered defects or incorrect products and will therefore not qualify for refunds, returns, or exchanges.
  • By purchasing from Therapy in Abar, customers acknowledge that natural inconsistencies are an inherent feature of handmade personal care products and do not constitute a fault.
  1. Skin Sensitivity & Patch testing 
    1. At Therapy in Abar, we believe in the gentle power of nature. Each of our products is thoughtfully crafted using natural ingredients and essential oils—designed to be kind to your skin and uplifting to your senses.
    2. However, as every skin type is unique, we encourage our customers to take a few simple precautions, especially if you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies:
    3. Please review the full list of ingredients for each product before use to ensure it’s suitable for you.
    4. We recommend performing a patch test before full application: apply a small amount of the product to a discreet area of skin and wait 24 hours to check for any adverse reactions.
    5. Use of the product despite known allergies or sensitivities, or failure to perform a patch test, will void eligibility for any return, refund, or exchange.
    6. Our products are made without harsh chemicals, but natural ingredients—like essential oils—can still cause irritation in rare cases.
    7. We want you to have the best experience possible with our products, and we stand by their quality. However, since skin reactions can vary from person to person, we are unable to offer returns or refunds for adverse skin responses.
    8. By purchasing our products, customers acknowledge and accept these terms and agree to assume full responsibility for any risks related to product use.
  2. Delays in Delivery
    1. While we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated timeframes, Therapy in Abar is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:
  • Courier issues
  • Weather conditions
  • Government restrictions or unforeseen circumstances (e.g. lockdowns, curfews, etc.)
  1. We will do our best to assist you in tracking delayed orders, but refunds will not be issued solely due to shipment delays beyond our control.
  1. No Warranty on Expiry or Shelf Life

Refunds or returns shall only be considered where the product is delivered beyond its stated shelf life. Therapy in Abar disclaims any liability for products that are within their shelf life, and no refund or return shall be granted on the grounds of expiry if the product remains within the stated period.

  1. Limitation of Liability 

Therapy in Abar’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product only and excludes any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  1. Policy Applicability 

This Refund and Return Policy applies only to purchases made through official Therapy in Abar channels. Third-party sellers or marketplaces may have separate policies.

  1. Force Majeure 

Therapy in Abar shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to fulfill its obligations under this policy due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen events.

  1. Customer Responsibility for Accurate Information 

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping and contact information. Therapy in Abar is not liable for any delays, lost, or misdirected shipments resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

  1. Data Privacy 

Any personal information collected during the return or refund process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Therapy in Abar is committed to protecting customer data and will use such information solely for the purpose of processing returns and refunds.

  1. Severability 

If any provision of this Refund and Return Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

  1. Entire Agreement

This Refund and Return Policy constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and Therapy in Abar regarding returns and refunds and supersedes any prior communications or agreements, whether written or oral.
